Well, not really.
BUT…
It was the day that we all sat down to watch the Ski-Doo 2023 new model lineup reveal.
When the sheets were pulled and the new Gen 5’s were revealed, live viewers from around the world couldn’t help but think to themselves… that sled right there has a familiar face…
What is it…
Holy shnikies… that’s a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
Didn’t take long for us to decide if this was something we were going to run with. We pulled our design team in and told them they had a couple months to figure this out.
The results…?
We might be biased but we think they killed it.
So, we dialed up our friends at SNOWEST and said we had something to show them.
They came over and we filmed this video that you probably remember:
This video was shot at the end of August of 2022, right before we were heading out to HayDays.
Shortly after, we dropped our pre-release line of Gen 5 designs which included our Shinobi family of wraps.
Ski-Doo snowcheck customers went crazy with the Shinboi lineup.
We saw various customizations using our online sled wrap customizer tool that blew us away, and made us 100% stoked to start seeing these run through production.
Fast forward a couple of months…and a brand new, highly detailed Ski-Doo Gen5 wrap template, the Shinobi family was ready to venture out into the wild.
