Follow the hacks below, and you’ll be sure to have the most fun you’ve ever had designing up a snowmobile wrap!

Know Your Plastics

It’s crucial that you keep the color of your snowmobile in mind when designing up a sled wrap. The base colors of your tunnel, tank, side panels, and hood will be slightly visible in-between your decal cut lines. This is normal.

What is not normal is when you design a wrap that COMPLETELY clashes with your snowmobile stock colors.

If you have some red on your side panels, it doesn’t take much, simply just a splash of red within your design and that will blend everything nicely.

You can also pull an image up of your snowmobile in cases where you don’t have it – ex: with a snowcheck. Look closely at the image of your snowmobile and design your wrap using splashes of the existing colors.

In the video below, we walk you through how to match up wrap colors with your stock colors. Watch it!

In a nutshell:

  • Pay attention to angles and decal cut lines
  • Look up stock manufacturer sleds and see where they place stock logos. You can mimic that using our wrap customizer.
  • It’s helpful to make all wrap colors white so you can see all the decal cut lines, and then place your logos. Once finished, adjust the wrap colors to what you want.
  • If you see sled wraps online that you like, pay attention to how they place their logos and use it as a blueprint for yours. 🙂

Don’t stress if you are unsure if everything is exactly lined up. Especially if you are designing your wrap on a phone or tablet.

Once you place your order, we work your file and get it ready to print.
