This detailed step-by-step Ski-Doo Gen 5 snowmobile wrap installation guide will walk you through the placement of every panel on your new wrap and help you achieve a clean, professional-grade finish right from your own garage.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
We recommend unrolling your wrap completely and laying it flat on a large table or hanging it up on a wall before starting.
This makes it easy to identify each piece and visualize how your new graphics fit together.
In this 2025 Ski-Doo Gen 5 tutorial, we begin with KIT 1 – HOOD / SIDE PANELS. you can find the kit number at the bottom of each section in a line.
Follow along with the video as we guide you panel-by-panel through the entire installation process.
Use the play/pause technique to match the video’s pacing while you work through each piece.
This helps ensure proper alignment and keeps your install smooth and stress-free.
After applying all pieces, it’s time to post-heat your wrap and fine-tune any areas that need adjustment.
Be sure to heat-treat every edge of every panel this step activates the adhesive and creates an incredibly strong bond between the vinyl and your Ski-Doo’s bodywork.

PRINT LAYOUT EXPLAINED
At the bottom of each printed sheet, you’ll see a line of text listing the coverage area name (for example: “KIT 1” , “Side Panel,” “Tunnel Top,” or “Hood”).
This reference helps you quickly locate where each sheet belongs on your sled.
See the example image below.
KIT 1 – HOOD / SIDE PANELS
Kit 1 contains the large hood and upper side panel pieces.
These define the front appearance of your Ski-Doo Gen 5 and tie directly into the machine’s signature body lines.
Start with these to lock in your main alignment points.
kit 2 (hood / side panels / dash)
Kit 2 continues coverage along the lower side panels and belly area.
These sections flow seamlessly into Kit 1 to give your sled full-side protection and color consistency.
BELTPACK
In this kit, there are three different styles of belt packs included.
You’ll need to test-fit each one to determine which version properly matches your Ski-Doo Gen 5 model. The other two styles can be discarded—they’re extras included to ensure compatibility across different sled configurations.
TNK – TANK & UPPER TUNNEL SECTIONS
This sheet includes pieces for both sides of the fuel tank and upper tunnel area.
These sections connect your cockpit graphics to the tunnel for a continuous, integrated design.
TNLTOP – TUNNEL TOP & TUNNEL SIDES
The TNL pieces wrap the tunnel side walls, while the TOP pieces cover the tunnel deck.
Install these last to align with your track guards and rear bumper for a tight, uniform finish.
COLOR OUTLINES
Each wrap piece is outlined with a specific color code.
Pieces sharing the same color outline belong to the same general area of your sled.
For example, blue outlines identify hood pieces, red outlines mark tunnel sections, and yellow outlines highlight dash panels.
Use these color guides to stay organized as you work.
INSTALL GUIDE & PRINT LAYOUT REFERENCE
Every wrap order from Deviant Ink includes a detailed install guide and print layout reference sheet.
On the right side of this sheet, you’ll see each kit displayed in color matching the printed pieces shipped with your order.
Each color group corresponds to a specific part of your sled, such as the hood, side panels, tunnel sides, tank, and accessories.
This makes it easy to locate every piece and understand exactly where it belongs before you start your install.
