Customizing your snowmobile with a new sled wrap is serious business. If you’re like us, your wrap design tells a story, or showcases your riding style, or is there to represent YOU.
And, if you’re like us, you don’t want to be wrap twinners on the mountain with someone else.
You want to be 100% unique.
That’s why we built in the custom color selector for each of our snowmobile wrap product pages. This gives you the ability to quickly edit any of our 70+ designs to create a one-of-a-kind sled wrap kit.
The best part about it is that you can do it all on your phone too or computer without a graphic design degree!
If you like step-by-step instructions, we’ve got that to. Follow the steps below to see just how easy it is to customize your snowmobile wrap.
Step 1 – Select Your Manufacturer
Scroll over to the left side of the website to the main navigation bar and select your sled manufacturer.
With a few of our manufacturers we provide web views for a couple different models. For example, when you click Ski Doo you’ll see two options.
- ALL MODELS (SK)
- REV-G4 TURBO
If you have a Ski Doo turbo, select the turbo option, otherwise for all other Ski Doo models select the “all models” option.
Step 2 – Browse Designs
Browse the 80+ different designs and pick one that you like. We like to consider this your base template design.
Quick tip: For the most part, our wraps cover snowmobile make and models dating back to the early 2000’s. You’ll “officially” select your sled make/model in step 6}}}} below but if you’d like to make sure we cover your sled you can skip to that step at anytime and check by clicking the “next/choose model” button.
Step 3 – To Customize or Not
Once you’ve settled on one, you have a couple options at this point.
You can customize the design further by changing the colors of the design, or, you can select one of the popular colorways and bypass the color customizations.
For the sake of this tutorial, let’s assume you want to customize the design colors.
Step 4 – Design Customization
This is where the fun really begins.
Accent Colors
This is where you can make your rails, tunnel, panels/accent pieces look like your actual snowmobile. Notice, this is simply a visual feature. We don’t modify your existing skis, rails, and tunnel colors.
Wrap Colors
Next up are the wrap color customizations. Click that tab and start playing around with the various color options.
Logos
This is the ticket right here. You might be familiar with our previous process for adding logos to your design. It was pretty standard across the industry and is STILL how every other snowmobile wrap company does it… We knew our customers wanted better so we built out an industry-leading customizer that allows you to add logos to your wrap, change colors, size, placement, etc.
We’re constantly adding logos to our database. If you can’t find a logo you need, simply type it in and place it. We can get it added to your design during the order prep process for you to review.
Personalize
This is where you can add your instagram handle, your name, your racing number or whatever else you’d like. We even give you the option to change the font style, size, color, and placement.
Coverage
This is where you select how much of your snowmobile you want covered in wrap. We have four standard locations:
- Tank
- Tunnel
- Tunnel top
- Hood & side panels
We also have the option to put your design on the sides of a sled deck attachment if you have that on top of your truck bed.
Overlay
We have four different overlay options. This is the top protective layer of your wrap.
- Gloss: gives a clean, shiny look
- Matte: also super clean non-reflective look
- Gold Flake: glossy look with gold flake speckles. Has a gold speckled look in sunlight
- Sparkle Flake: glossy look with multiple color speckles popping in sunlight
Note: gold and sparkle flake are a $75 upgrade to the price.
Step 5 – Select Model
This is where you select your year, model, track size and include any order notes you want us to know about while we build your custom wrap.
Step 6 – Add to Cart & Checkout
All you need to do now is add your wrap to the cart and check out! You’ll be asked to create an account which we highly suggest doing. This allows you to see order tracking, save future designs, etc.
